It’s not your fault! Your body is fighting a losing battle.
Let me explain.
You were designed to be an efficient fat burning, calorie consuming machine. That design hasn’t changed much in the 1000s of years that man has been roaming the earth. Unfortunately, and here’s MORE BAD NEWS, society has changed. Instead of being hunters and farmers who burn a lot of energy through the day, we are now an industrial /technological society which means sitting behind a desk and getting our food from convenience stores. fast food chains, and vending machines. We don’t even have the time to burn off what we consume.
So, some GOOD NEWS: There is a way to effectively burn calories, get a lean body, and enjoy health. It’s just a matter of changing the way you look at food and making small changes in your lifestyle. More on that later.
Let’s start with the why’s:
These are just some of the obesity related illnesses that we suffer from as a society. These are the ones we FEEL. There are numerous more that have no outward signs. I call them the deadly killers.
So why should you get healthy? So that you can eliminate all these illnesses from your life.
Here’s a thought for you: Obesity is becoming more an more, a medical risk for the young. And keep in mind, obese children are more likely to become morbidly obese adults.
